Joining as Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO)
As pillars of our chain of command's authority and discipline, the NCOs are the chief executors of the Officers' orders and strategic plans.
Promotion Requirements for NCOs
An NCO will be promoted internally or with equivalent discipline obtained externally. It is also a compulsory requirement to attend advanced NCO's training course before promotion.
Joining Procedure - NCOs
Upon indicating your interest in joining us, you will be invited to attend an information session. In this session, you will learn more about our organization's history, missions, objectives and activities. At the same time, you will be given the opportunity to raise questions about an NCO's required attributes, responsibilities, as well as time commitment.
Should you decide to proceed with your application, you will be put through a series of recruit training. Upon successful completion of your first year's recruit training, you will be given responsibilities to teach and lead Cadets and Junior Cadets. Many more interesting challenges, training and promotion opportunities will subsequently be available to you, depending on your willingness to learn and participate.
